Project

This project is aimed at resolving the personnel issue among competitive programming coaches and increasing interest in competitive programming in the regions of Kazakhstan. The Federation actively collaborates with universities and schools to foster the successful development of the competitive programming ecosystem. It engages computer science teachers, university teachers, and students majoring in IT to encourage them to embark on a career in coaching for competitive programming.

Retraining of school and university teachers in computer science, as well as providing training for those who are just starting their coaching career in the field of competitive programming.

Project objectives

Training of qualified coaches

After completing the training, teachers can become qualified competitive programming coaches. This will allow them to effectively conduct classes and prepare their students for competitions.

Stimulating student interest

Training of teachers allows to introduce new and exciting teaching methods, which can stimulate students' interest in competitive programming.

Advanced training in the field of informatics and competitive programming

Training of teachers in these fields contributes to the improvement of their own qualifications and professionalism, as well as provides an opportunity for career growth.

Participation in Olympiads and tournaments

Teacher training provides them with the opportunity to participate in Olympiads and tournaments, which not only contributes to their personal growth, but also provides valuable experience that they can pass on to students by preparing them for competitions.

  • Community

    A community for aspiring computer science coaches and educators who are interested in competitive programming to share experiences and information.

  • Selection

    Selection and training of promising candidates for the role of coaches are conducted.

  • Training format

    The training will take place in an online format twice a week and will include lectures, practical exercises, contests, discussions of problems, and collaborative problem-solving.

  • For whom:

    The project is aimed at educating those who are just embarking on their coaching journey. Therefore, those who can participate include:
    🔸 school teachers who do not have winners of national and international Olympiads;
    🔸 University teachers who do not have ICPC finalists.

  • Certification and issuance of certificates

    The certification of the group members in algorithmic programming is carried out, followed by the issuance of certificates to successful participants.
