About the Championship

CPFED CodeGirls is a competitive programming competition among girls.
The development of demographic and gender diversity is one of the priorities of the Federation. Also, to participate in the European Olympiad for Girls and other Olympiads, we aim to prepare and select the high-quality national team of Kazakhstan among girls. To achieve this, we are organizing a championship for girls, open to schoolgirls from all over Kazakhstan.

Championship Rules

The main aims of the Championship are: 1)Promotion of gender equality in the field of IT. 2)Preparation and holding of high-quality selections of the national team of Kazakhstan in Olympiad informatics among girls. 3)Demonstration of a wide range of career opportunities available in the field of information technology for girls.

Rules and format

The championship


By developing sports programming among girls, we strive to help eliminate gender stereotypes and ensure equal opportunities for all. Diversity in the technology community leads to a variety of ideas and innovations.

The championship of 2024 includes 2 stages:

  • Online Qualifying stage - June 1, 2024

  • Final on-site stage - June 14-15, 2024


Based on the results of the Qualifying Stage, up to 40 participants with the best scores proceed to the Final Stage. The winners of the Final stage are awarded with diplomas. The number of winners is determined by the members of the jury and the organizing committee, based on the results of the Final stage. The official partner of the Championship is the international technopark of IT start-ups Astana Hub!

Competitive Programming Federation

The top four participants will join the Kazakhstan national team and represent our country at the European Girls' Olympiad in Informatics (EGOI). The sponsor of the participation of the national team of Kazakhstan in EGOI is Freedom Holding Corp. By developing sports programming among girls, we strive to help eliminate gender stereotypes and ensure equal opportunities for all. Diversity in the technology community leads to a variety of ideas and innovations. Girls' participation in computer science can contribute to the creation of new approaches, solutions and technologies. Learning about technology can help girls increase their self-confidence and broaden their horizons.
